A Look at iTunes 8 from EZComputerHelp
So, you’ve heard about the fabulous iTunes 8 and all those new iPods.
But what’s in iTunes 8? The features are documented on Apple’s Website, however some of us find an informative video much easier to understand!
Here’s a video from The Tech Show documenting the key features highlighted by Apple.
Our favorite feature so far is the Album “Grid” view. We found it especially useful when looking at podcasts, We could instantly find out how many episodes we had downloaded, how many new episodes there were out of those downloaded and we could also see the cover art and the title in a clean space.
However, while the “Grid” view was our favorite feature, there is another large feature that may have some people already asking “What”.
iTunes 8’s “Genius” feature was probably the most highly pressed feature. We believe that it is the most innovative feature of the release, as well as the most interesting. We tried it out and found that it worked quite well, delivering quite good playlists. Due to the nature of the software however, it is most likely not going to perform as touted until many more than the early adopters are using the software.

[..YouTube..] Yes, the covers all sync to my iPod. In fact, all of the previous and current generation excluding the shuffle have Cover Flow.Thanks for watching!

[..YouTube..] I suggest removing iTunes and then reinstalling it. You need to double click the installer package that the download gives you. I hope that helps, and thanks for watching The Tech Show!

[..YouTube..] Yes, Andrew1213Muzic you can definitely keep the music. You install and it all shows up again. This is replacing the iTunes software, the iTunes library itself stays right where it is. I hope that helps and thanks for watching!
