How to Defragment Your Disk Drive
| 1. | Open My Computer. |
| 2. | Right-click the local disk volume that you want to defragment, and then click Properties. |
| 3. | On the Tools tab, click Defragment Now. |
| 4. | Click Defragment. |

Its something a lot of people are unaware of. When the system begins to slowdown, one wonders what happened to the speed it showed when i just bought it. Fragmentation is like arthritis, builds up slowly and wears the HDD out to pull down the speed of the whole system.
