This is how i fix it!!

-Install a fresh copy of itunes
-use a original ipod cord
-use a USB 2.0 port
-your ipod should appear now in itunes
-restore it
- now i can use an non original ipod cord

(i try to use an non original ipod cord to restore i dont work i dont know why !!!

this was my expirence :P xD

When i tried to plug it back in the iTunes pops up and tells me I need to restore it, my problem w/ that is I didnt want all my music and stuff to be lost. The next day(today) I going through music, its fine, but when I went through my videos it would start up slow then out of no where froze. Then I restarted the ipod, and it did the message " Connect to your computer", and so I did, and I'd rather be sure than sorry so what should I do? p.s.
