Installing TomTom GPS navigation on AT&T Tilt 8925 HTC Kaiser TyTN 2

This video is showing how easy it is to install TomTom GPS Navigation software from the micro SD expansion slot. The phone is running Windows Mobile 6.1 with the AT&T default software uninstalled.

Turn the phone ON with out the micro SD card inside. Download the TomTom software on your micro SD card then put it into your windows mobile phone. Insert the micro SD card into your AT&T Tilt. The TomTom should start to install automatically. Next pick the settings, please watch the video to see the settings.

TomTom GPS navigation software is very easy to use and I use it all the time. I have had no problems, it all runs great and I would buy the software again.

GPS on your cell phone like the Tilt has is invaluable to me and is a must have.  You can try free maps from Google or Microsoft they work well to but I like the look of TomTom best.

    I Just recived this e-mail from youtube:
    hey i hav the tomtom navigator application i downloaded online. and i hav the htc tytn II with the wm 6.1 upgraded rom. i tried installing the cab file. but it says it wont work. i tried downgrading to 6.0 and it still wont work on it.. any ideas?

    Hey its me again this is the exact error message i get when i try to install the tomtom navigator 6 application on my tytn II which has been upgraded to wm 6.1

    Unable to install application. Please update your device ROM to the require version before trying again.

    i have tomtom nav 6 installed on by tilt but it cannot find a valid gps signal. i also have it installed on my old HP iPaq and it works just fine. Any suggestions on how to get tomtom running on my tilt

    The (free) traffic update feature has already saved me time on several trips. Interface is intuative, love the ability to associate my own pictures with “Favourite” locations. My son especially loves the “Black Pearl” as the ‘car’ icon.

    Highly recommended.
