Why "https" is important!
In this post i will discuss the importance of using “https://” when logging in to certain websites and where it is useful for it to be committed.
“https://” is basically an secure and encrypted way to access a web page. You may have noticed this when you are logging into your Banks website or making a purchase online. Recently there has been a sudden interest in WiFi security. I observed on television that the way to “fully” protect yourself was to have a WPA connection to the router. That is a solution for privatised WiFi. But what about in a public area like Starbucks?
That is where “https://” comes in. Unlike “http://”, “https://” is a secure connection. This is the best way to surf securely. Try to get into the habit of doing it because if someone gets a hold of your details then you have a whole lot more problems on your hands then.
